All electric homes will also reduce health/environmental risks from burning gas inside your home (e.g. carbon monoxide poisoning) and the associated emissions from burning wood (PM 2.5 particles).

We will conduct a site visit (within the greater Ballarat region) to inspect; electricity phase connection, switchboard, thermal efficiency, floorspace (room size) and home occupancy.   A personalised report will provide an analysis on your heating and cooling systems, hot water systems/tank size and switchboard capacity.  The report will also recommend cost effective systems to assist with an ‘all electric’ transition. 

The report will focus on the following areas:

Switchboard 

• electricity phase connection (single, 2 or 3 phase)
• current switchboard capacity
• number of circuit breakers required to install electric hot water systems, electric cooktop and ovens, electric heating and cooling systems, electric vehicle chargers and solar PV systems with batteries
• determine if your switchboard will require upgrading to go ‘all electric’ 

Hot water system

• review existing hot water system
• recommend a range of budget and high quality electric alternatives 
• advise tank size based on household occupancy 
• outline estimated costs for supply and installation
• detail the State and Federal rebates available 
• links to retailers who can upgrade your hot water system

Heating system 

• determine the most appropriate and efficient heating system for your home
• recommend the most efficient brands and sizes to heat selected areas
• recommend high quality local installers

Cooking 

• determine electric cooktop and oven brands and models to suit your needs
• recommend high quality local installers
